How good was The Titanic in Belek

As a golf operator you try and get your customers to the best place possible to meet their needs.

There is so much choice, anywhere in the world, always somewhere to suit someone.

A big part of me feels incredibly saddened for Turkey and it’s golf presence. Without the troubles ( though we also have these all around the world!) I really do believe the European hotspots of Spain and Portugal would have had a real job to keep a stranglehold on the European golf market.

The ride though is turning again, confidence in the UK is returning for the area and personally I am very pleased about that.

Great weather, fantastic hospitality, very high standard hotels and golf courses any established golfing country would be proud of.

Having just returned from a stay at The Titanic resort, playing unlimited golf, and a few beers in between at the all inclusive resort Titanic Resort Ed Henderson, a very good customer who is quickly becoming a very good friend, had this to say:-

Hope you are well…….all this cycling you should be “super fit”.

Where do I start…….perhaps with the summary first…………we all thoroughly enjoyed the week…..so much so I have been asked to sort out a revisit next year.

HOTEL……..general thoughts…...the best we have ever stayed in…………the rooms were excellent….beds very comfortable….variety of food unbelievable. Bars, well we are “Geordies” tested most of them……..and…… “tried” to behave with some success !!! Don’t think we were too much trouble to anyone (perhaps a bit loud at times(but as I have said “we are Geordies”)

GOLF COURSE……….all three 9’s good and about right for the standard of golfers that we are…….

THE BIG BONUS…….Onder ……..what a super guy…….nothing was a problem…….his organisation in getting us to and from golf second to none…..our needs were always fulfilled no matter what. A true “new holiday friend for me”…….but we all cannot thank him enough for the way he looked after us. And I must say a brilliant ambassador for Dream Golf Holidays.

What now……..need some prices for around same time next year numbers may increase (definitely at least two non golfers) and we may be needing 16 players based upon initial reaction to our feedback at the Ravensworth yesterday.”
