Kauai Fam Trip Day 6
Thursday 9th November
Puakea Golf Course
- Into the mountains for the golf today, the Puakea course winds it’s way through the Jurassic Park and Indiana Jones mountains. With all the sounds of the birds it sounds like your in the films!!! Some of the holes were just exquisite, the par 3 6th hole was stand out, worth of any course.
This is a Course you just wouldn’t mind playing. The back 9 stands out more than the front, probably because there are few if any houses on the back compared to the front!
Extremely playable, very welcoming, the course is a good one to have on the itinerary, very reasonable to.
Anara Spa @ the Grand Hyatt
Now this was a massage, totally geared to a golfer, arms, legs, back, all eased, all put back in place. It really did help. The whole experience was a relaxing one, with use of all the facilities available before and after the massage, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms etc. It is a tranquil retreat in an already laid back resort.
Within the complex at the Grand Hayatt are a number of top restaurants. The Tidepools restaurant has been voted the “Most Romantic Restaurant on Kauai” by Hawaii Magazine readers. It is well worth a visit, lots of fish, as below. Fresh from the sea, it can’t be beaten, beautiful.
Everything about the restaurant was top notch, food, wine, service, ambience. I could go on and on.
