Buenos Aires City
This trending cosmopolitan city is sophisticated and elegant with a European style. Cinemas, theatres, museums, art galleries, bars, discos, old cafes, restaurants, polo fields, flee markets, more than 6 football stadiums, mixed up with Tango dance clubs make an interesting atmosphere, defining this unique “porteño” culture which contains lot of Spanish and Italian ingredients.
BA, as one of the largest cities in the world, has an intense everyday life, traffic on the rush hours, business-financial centre full of modern towers, a growing subway map, historical downtown and a new modern area with a yacht club over the “Rio de la Plata”. In this safe city, you will always get what you want: leather goods, international food, enormous steaks, great wine, shopping malls offering famous international brands, and a never-ending nightlife (8pm to 6 am), all combining hospitality, very good service and great value for money.
Buenos Aires City Tour
This morning, enjoy a private city tour with a bilingual guide featuring major sights including the Teatro Colón Opera House, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Government Palace (Casa Rosada) the colourful La Boca district, the tough port barrio and colorful working class heart of Buenos Aires, and San Telmo, home and birthplace of the sultry tango.
Then, you will visit the northern area of the city: Palermo neighborhood with its woods, gardens and lakes, and Recoleta, with its famous cemetery (where is buried Evita) among lots of very famous and important people from Buenos Aires and Argentinean history.
La Ventana Tango Show
In the very heart of San Telmo, this historic restored tenement (known as conventillo) is a classic example of the culture of the old city of Buenos Aires.
The premises of La Ventana takes a trip to these old times. The interior, which preserves the building in its purest style, creates the ideal setting for a unique experience which includes 32 performers, two tango orchestras, an Argentine folk music group, dancers and singers. Besides, there is a menu consisting of national and international cuisine and an exquisite selection of Argentine wines.
Bariloche City
Located in the Andean foothills, Bariloche rivals the Swiss Alps for sheer beauty. It is the most important town in the region.
Bariloche, on the southern shore of Lago Nahuel Huapi, founded in 1898, is the best centre for exploring the National Park. The town surrounded by lakes and parks, is a favourite resort for skiers and mountaineers. It’s renowned for its chocolate industry and its wooden chalets perched upon a glacial moraine at the foot of Cerro Otto. There is a belvedere at the top of Cerro Otto with wide views of the lake and mountain.
Bariloche has an active cultural life. The town has excellent tourist facilities and offers a wide range of services for those who like fishing, hunting, mountaineering, golf and water sports. Due to its southern location, in summer (January and February) daylight extends from 5 am. to 10 pm, having the opportunity to enjoy very long days. The temperature in this season is between 14º (on the night) to 23º maximum, rain is uncommon during the summer.
Circuito Chico
This is the most traditional tour in Bariloche. It's a beautiful excursion where the city, woods, the lakes and mountains come together.
Your tour will take you up into the surrounding mountains for breathtaking views of the Catedral, Lopez and Otto Mountain peaks, descending to Lake Nahuel Huapi and Lake Moreno. A visit to Cerro Campanario via a chairlift gives you one of the most spectacular views of the area.
Isla Victoria Y Bosque De Arrayanes
Full day tour to Victoria island and “arrayanes” woods. This trip begins at Puerto Pañuelo located on the Lao llao Peninsula on lake Nahuel Huapi. The island is 11 kilometers away, the boat journey takes about 30 minutes. On the way to Puerto Anchorena you will be awed by the colour of the water, the Andean peaks and the abundant vegetation.
Once on the island, our suggestion is to spend time trekking it. The place must have been inhabited for thousands of years. Proof of this, are the smoke stained caves and the rupestrian paintings.
This island is 20 kilometers long and 4 kilometers wide with a Total surface of 3.710 hectares. It is divided into three sections.
From Isla Victoria you can continue the trip by boat towards Puerto Quetrihue located to the south of the peninsula that bares the same name. This trip also takes 30 minutes and the most outstanding feature is that you land at a pure and dense arrayán forest. The arrayán is a tree that has a cinnamon brown bark. This bark detaches itself in strips revealing lighter layers of the same hue.
Mendoza City
Situated at the foot of The Andes, Mendoza is the capital city of the homonymous province and the most important city of the West of Argentina. It is one of the most chosen tourist destinations because of the various interesting activities available in the region. Lots of vineyards and wineries are located here, as well as wonderful sight-seeing opportunities, rivers, lakes, ski centres (Las Leñas) and mountains, such as “Cerro Aconcagua” the highest mountain of the continent (with 6.950meters).
The climate of the region is mild though the mountains provide a certain degree of aridity. The temperature in Summer ranges from 18º C to 33º C and days are hot and nights are fresh. In Winter, the minimum temperature is 3º C and the maximum registered temperature is 16º C. The very well known "Ruta de los Vinos" (Route of the Wines) deserves a special mention because tourists can visit ancient cellars and taste excellent yields which are a product of carefully chosen grapes.
Full Day Wine Tour
Early in the morning we will meet the oenologist who will accompany us throughout the tour. We will depart to Mendoza’s agricultural oasis and visit two prestigious wineries, we will visit its facilities and be able to participate in a guided wine tasting, during which we will begin to familiarize ourselves with the local wines, and its elaborate process.
The guide will explain the technique of wine tasting, wine production techniques, the importance of the cork in the bottle and the correct way to handle a glass in order to taste wine.
At noon we will have lunch in a winery, where we will enjoy an unforgettable gastronomic experience. In the afternoon we will be able to visit other winery’s and enjoy a wine tasting session.
Olivos GC
The Olivos GC is one of the best courses in the country and the region, just ask Angel Cabrera, Eduardo Romero! The Golf Digest Magazine have also ranked it within the top 100 courses around the world. The course is the home every year to the Argentine Masters Tournament, winners over the years include Payne Stewart, Bernard Langher, Gary Player, Vijay Singh and Craig Stadler. The course was also chosen as venue for World Amateur Golf Championship on two ocassions (1972 & 2010). This 27 holes parkland (White / Red / Blue) of 6,705 yards from the blue tees was designed by Luther Koontz, who used to work with Alister Mackenzie (the Augusta National Architect). This parkland layout with large trees is laid out over land with lot of undualtions and contours.. Prestige, history, tradition, challenge, all these put together explains why Olivos GC is considered locally as a golf paradise.
Buenos Aires GC
The Buenos Aires Golf Club opened in 1994. Just one year later, in 1995, the club hosted the Argentine Open and the South American Amateur Championship. In 2000 this course also hosted the EMC Golf World Cup, when the Americans Tiger Woods and David Duval defeated in the last round the Argentine team of Eduardo Romero and Angel Cabrera. Designed by Robert Von Hagge, the Buenos Aires Golf Club is said to be the best course in the country. The club haves three different 9 holes courses: Green, Blue and Yellow. All of them interesting and challenging designs. Borne to become a venue for the most prestigious championships, the most frequently used combination is Green-Yellow courses, measuring 6.755 yards, par 72. They are full of water and lots of bunkers. The excellent greens and a marvelous maintenance make it a perfect venue. In 2005 Golf digest ranked The Buenos Aires Golf Club in the top 100 courses around the world. Non-members are welcome from Tuesday to Sunday; buggies are available, one caddy per foursome is compulsory.
Llao Llao GC
The golf Course is short, but tricky, measuring 5,856-yards with a Par of 71. Precise tee-shot placement is imperative or you will be firing over, under or around cypress or larch trees all day. The Llao Llao 18-hole golf links are unique in Argentina. The course has rolling greens and fairways sown with fine grass over the shores of the Nahuel Huapi lake and surrounded by incredibly ancient large-sized woods that are 400 years old. Perfectly integrated bunkers, water hazards and greens, all different from each other, make up an interesting and harmonic assembly. The 18th hole, a 220yard par 3, will also get your heart racing with a forced carry over a huge inlet of Lake Nahuel Huapi. The course was host of the Argentine Open shoot-out, where Angel Cabrera won several times.
Arelauquen Golf & Country Club
The country club lies on the northwestern shore of Lake Gutiérrez. It is crossed by the Longochinoco Creek, which makes up a central valley in the shape of a horse-shoe opening towards the lake. Immersed in a setting where the air is pure, surrounded by mountains, lakes of crystal-clear waters, unique vegetation and the highest level infrastructure necessary for golfers, Arelauquen Golf & Country Club offers its new 18-hole course 6,693-yard Par-72, designed by Vicente Fernandez and Carlos Ordone. During the entire round, the summits of Mount Catedral, Mount Otto and the deep blue of Lake Gutierrez may be observed.
Club de Campo Mendoza
Located in the department of Guaymallén, where there used to be a country house surrounded by lush olives tres. The 18-holes golf course opened in April 1974, and since then has hosted important events with players such as Eduardo Romero, Angel Cabrera and Roberto de Vicenzo. In spite of being relatively flat its defence is the difficulty that is found around the greens. This wonderful scenery is full of trees creating an amazing contrast with the green course and The Andes range. The course was design by Sanchez Elias, Peralta Ramos & Agostini and its record is 67 (by Guillermo Benenati). The club facilities include a modern pro-shop and the only driving range in Mendoza opened to the public, with indoor and outdoor areas for practice and a large putting green. It also has a 2000 m2 Club House and a 600 m2 terrace, with a wonderful view of the mountains.
