Paul did an amazing job sorting out a coaching trip for 16 ladies and myself. The organisation of the entire trip was second to none.  From the airport transfers to golf days, to the evenings. Everything was booked and transfers turned up on time every time.

Paul organised all the evening meals for us and every night was a different meal at a fabulous restaurant.  Comments were made through out the trip about how all they’ve had to do is say yes they are going, make the payment, and turn up. Absolutely everything was done for us organisation wise. If we had to organise ourselves, it probably wouldn’t have gone so smoothly.

Golf Teaching Sessions

We had coaching sessions prior to a round of golf each day. This proved to be a great success, the sessions were 2 hours long and allowed everyone to practice, long game, short game, putting.  It was also long enough to be able to  have a break from hitting balls and listen to advice both on the playing and game management side of golf.

This benefited everyone and led to conversations between smaller groups covering things in more detail with real life demonstrations. This also built the group relationship as everyone gelled over the same golfing issues.

Golf Courses

Quinta do Vale

Facilities at the three golf clubs were immaculate- Quinta Do Vale was next level, a really good Seve Ballesteros design. The greeting and show round we had was veery good, the team at Quinta do Vale couldn’t take enough care of us. You can tell they take great pride in the course they have. Here everything was nice and close together, the group practice was at the side of the range very near the short game area. It was so easy to swap about and if someone wanted to work on their short game more they could easily pop on over without feeling they were not part of the group.

Quinta da Ria

Quinta da Ria is stunning,  running along the coast line with views out in to the esturary, it is really playable for all abilities, well signed posted between green to tee so you can’t go wrong and beautifully kept.

Quinta de Cima

Quinta de Cima is a strong golf course with some lovely with a tough finishing stretch of holes over water.

All had a lovely clubhouse for lunch in between the coaching sessions and golf.

Plenty of room without feeling as though your taking over (we were a group of 17) and at all three we didn’t feel as though we were crammed in to one area or taking up too much room.

Staff at all three of the clubhouse were accommodating at getting drinks and food out in the hour we had between sessions and golf and making sure we got it all together (which isn’t easy been a big group).

Restaurants

Evenings were great! We were provided an itinerary of what time the meal was booked and how far away it was so we could all plan to meet in the reception at a certain time. Restaurants were so accommodating, nothing was too much especially dealing with a party of 17 women. Everyone’s expectations were exceeded.

Most restaurants were a small walk through the town of Tavira which on a night was beautifully lit and friendly to walk through.

Laughs were had all evening with a rendezvous back at the hotel roof top bar for a drink before bed.

Dream Golf Holidays have been amazing from the first initial conversation to the getting everything put together.

The organisation of such a big group, making sure we were looked after as one big group rather than smaller groups. I would have never dreamt to do this myself so thank you for organising and making it run so smoothly. Well done!
