Fantastic write up for Finca Cortesin

Hi Paul this course is something else. It certainly isn’t cheap, but as the saying goes you get what you pay for. With the very highest level of customer care and a fantastically presented course you would be very picky if you could find fault.

The moment you drive through the gated entrance, the caddy master is waiting for you in the car park to take your clubs. We had a quick coffee and checked in, again super professional in the pro shop, and walked downstairs. The starter was waiting for us and offered us a hit on the range where pyramids of quality range balls are just asking to be hit. He then took us to the putting green, wow, the putting green looked more like a carpet, just incredible. We were then escorted to the first tee by the starter, although the course was quite busy during the day, there was no one within sight, there was no waiting in front or pressure from behind all round. Half way round a buggy appeared with a bagful of fruit, the drinks buggy was available anywhere on the course (within minutes) with unlimited free water bottles, we were treated to ice cold towels on the 12th and on the 14th another buggy arrived offering gazpacho soup!

As we finished and drove back to the clubhouse the caddy master was waiting to take our cleaned clubs back to our car, whilst we had a well-earned beer.

The course is beautiful, it’s hosted three World Matchplay events. The stunning scenery, the unbelievably good greens and overall immaculate presentation, makes this a real treat. It’s a challenge and high handicappers would probably struggle, but the overall experience is one of true quality. It helped that I played really well and took the money, but we both said we would definitely return to what is a top three course on the Costa.
