Kauai Fam Trip Day 3

Monday 6th November – Kauai – We are here

St Regis Hotel Princeville

One nights stay was too short for this wonderful hotel in the most amazing of locations. A great nights sleep, a fantastic measure of a hotel is the mattress, this one was extremely comfy!

The breakfast on the patio, meeting everyone, making those introductions was done so with the backdrop of the mountains piercing down.

The mountains in the background form the back of the mythical creature from the song, ‘Puff the magic dragon’ who if you remember the words came from a town called Hanalei or Honnah Lee in the song. Who knows, but let’s keep the myth going.

Princeville Makai Golf Club

The only problem with playing a course like this is there is far too much beauty around that distracts you from your game! It’s not a bad thing though!!! What an amazing place to build a golf course. Sheer beauty, the course is a must play, lots of variety and many holes which could be described as signature holes.

Princeville Makai Golf Club Sunset Tour

Four stops around the golf course provide vantage points to watch the sun go down and listen to more history about the island. It is a lovely way to end the day, highly recommend.

So the first full day ends, it couldn’t be faulted. It’s a definite must on someone’s golfing/experience bucket list.

Catch you all again soon.
