Pre Season Golf Coaching Event
Carden Park was the venue, a wonderful country estate in the leafy suburbs of Cheshire. Two golf courses, excellent driving range with Toptracer technology and a good short game area to hone those golfing skills before the season starts.
Clubhouse
Organised with the help of Andrew Hall, the Head Pro at The Bradford Golf Club, Matt Skelton, (The Bradford Golf Club Assistant PGA Pro, soon to be Head Pro at Silkstone Golf Club) delivered the sessions.

Short game practice area
Two full days were had, lots of balls hit, lots of thoughts to go away with.
And that is the trait of a good coach, one who can send you away with some thoughts to work on, not demolishing your swing and trying to get you to be Dechambeau (50 + year old bodies don’t do that!!). Matt did a great job on that, everyone had those little tweaks and nuggets to go away with.
This was such a good experience for the golfers, a few ideas for improvements going into the new season.
Hotel facilities

Carden Park is an extremely nice resort. The hotel is very spacious, the decor is kept to a great standard with some very well trained staff. Young or old they have had instilled in to them some very good customer service skills.
The rooms were spacious and well equiped. The rooms are either within the hotel or in the very nice annexe buildings.
Both meals that we had there, dinner and breakfast were of a high quality and again the team looked after everyone very well.

Though it wasn’t used by this group the Spa at Carden Park is…. well the best……. Indoors or outdoor the facilities are exceptional. I have experienced the Spa here and it is a truly fabulous location and the team really know how to look after you. Book yourself a massage after your golf, well worth it!

Great 2 days guys, five star venue with abundant facilities lovely food, game improving tuition and absolutely glorious weather, what more could a man want🤔. Well I suppose being 10 years younger and a Louis Oosthuizen golf swing would be nice, but I suppose you can’t have everything😁🤣

So a great couple of the days were had.
