Dundonald Links
A fantastic place to play and stay
Dundonald Links
Introduction
The stunning coastal land that was available to the course designer Kyle Phillips provided the perfect
opportunity to develop a modern links course to match the majesty of long time favourites in the area.
All the traditional elements are there, deep rough, gorse bushes and then a little twist with a smattering
of pine trees. The courses pedigree of being a course to hold major events on started with being chosen
to host the first stage of the European Tour Qualifying School.
The Seniors then tested their skills as the course played host to Senior Opening
Qualifying. The prestigious Boys Amateur Championship came to Dundonald in 2014,
then it was the turn of the best female golfers for the Aberdeen Asset Management
Ladies Scottish Open in 2015 and 2016. With the opening of the Dundonald Lodges,
the whole resort takes on another lease of life. These self contained lodges have been
designed with fully-fitted kitchens, private terrace, equipment storage rooms and bedroom
suites with en-suite bathrooms to provide the perfect golfing retreat. They also have
putting greens so you can have great comps with your friends.!
After your round enjoy the superb food and hospitality in the very smart, spacious restaurant.
There is also the option of Private Dining in the incredible Whisky Room.
On the ground floor of the Clubhouse is a gym, the awesome changing rooms resplendent with sauna
and steam room. What a great way to relax after the round.
Playing golf in Scotland is a very special thing to do. The history of golf is everywhere.
