The Course

Jack Nicklaus as we know is as renowned for his golf course design as he was for his playing ability, quite incredible really. So to have one of his courses a short hop away in Ireland is great for all us golfers.

Five lakes, 80 bunkers, cheeky layouts of greens and fairways provide a strategic test for any golfer.

The course is a trademark Nicklaus design, sand and water being the protectors of the course and no doubt we will oblige when we play there!

A walled green, 180 yard carry over water, deep bunkers waiting for you! I’m not putting you off too much am I? No, go and try it, you will love it.

The course and resort has held the World Golf Championship, the Irish Open and the Irish seniors Open in it’s time and the aim is to get more top golf tournaments there very soon.

Rooms

There are numerous luxury room options at Mount Juliet either in the Manor House or Hunters yard.

Manor House

The Manor house is the heart of the estate, a very imposing building and one full of history. There are 32 bedrooms, all individually decorated and named after a famous figure from the area.

Hunters Yard

The accommodation at Hunters Yard mirrors the detail of the Manor House.

There are 93 rooms all beautifully decorated to provide you with a sense of a private retreat and a place to enjoy.

Dining

The Lady Helen

Fine dining at its best. The Michelin starred Lady Helen produces amazing food using local produce that is brought to life by the team under the Executive Chef. This is a real dining experience to savour.

The Hound

Informal dining to the highest quality, that is the mantra of The Hound. A place to sit, relax and mull over those missed putts, the superb drives and the great company you kept.
