The second course on the Belle Mare resort. This course has a truly international feel about it. It has hosted many professional events and currently hosts a leg of the Seniors European Tour series. It is truly idyllic, set on one of the best beaches in the country and winding it's way through the trees and plantation. The clubhouse provides great views of the course. Mauritius provides all your golfing senses with a cornucopia of feelings and emotions. It is also hard to play good golf amongst such beauty.
Ile Aux Cerfs Golf
How does this sound? Drive to the shore line, get on a private boat which takes you to the private island of Ile Aux Cerfs where you are going to play golf at one of the worlds iconic golf courses! Yes it does sound good doesn't it. this is the one golf course I have played in Mauritius. The Bernhard Langar signature course has been voted one of the TOP 20 courses in the world that you MUST play once in your lifetime. It is superb, the layout is superb, the views of the Ocean. Truly an amazing experience.
Anahita Golf
This Ernie Els course really does provide a test of golf for all. From the professionals playing in the annual Afrasia Bank Mauritius Open to the tourist to this beautiful island, the design provides fun, frivolity and anguish for all. The course brings in to play one of the prettiest lagoons on the island so plenty of golf balls will be in order. One of the hardest parts of your round will be the ability to concentrate amongst such beauty.
The Links Golf
Situated on the Belle Mare resort the links course is a true test of golf, one of the architects is the renowned English golfer and commentator Peter Allis. Lots of water on the course makes this course a real test for all levels of golfer. The course has been designed to replicate as much as possible a traditional links course, minus the wind, sideways rain, and just above freezing temperature!

Is Mauritius safe?
Mauritius is an extremely safe island for tourists. It is prudent though to abide by the normal travelling rules of not leaving yourself isolated and stay in lit areas at night. Petty theft, bag snatches can occur so stay vigilant.

When is the best time of year to play golf in Mauritius?
Mauritius is a year round destination as the climate is always good. May to October is an ideal temperature with less rainfall. November and December are the busiest months for tourists. January to April it gets pretty hot, though it will be quieter.
What is the temperature in Mauritius
The temperature averages around 21C in July to 30C in January (70-86 Fahrenheit).
What is the flight time to Mauritius?
A direct flight time would be approximately 12 hours. If your flight has a stop over, ,usually somewhere in the Emirates the flight time is around 16 hours.
Are visas required for Mauritius
There is no requirement for a visa if you are a UK citizen. Ensure there are two blank pages in your passport.

There are no barriers with language in Mauritius, English is widely spoken. The native language is Creole with French spoken a lot.
